Fall foliage is reaching its peak in the Poconos, giving brilliant colored scenery for residents and visitors in the greater Lake Region.
The Pocono Mountain Visitors Bureau (PMVB) maintains a Fall Foliage Forecast and map which are updated weekly online, as well as on a recorded telephone message. The geographic region of the four-county Poconos, which encompass 2,400 square miles, is broken down into three zones for fall foliage. As the autumn progress, one may follow the peak colors from north to south and take in the ever-changing pallet of nature.
