Grey Towers National Historic Site in Milford Township is open for tours through the end of October. Tours are offered every day on the hour from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. A 10 a.m. 3-floor tour also is offered on Saturdays and Sundays.

SATURDAY, OCT 19: THE GREY TOWERS LANDSCAPE: AUTUMN IN CORNELIA'S GARDENS, 1:30 pm. Brilliant red, yellow and orange leaves will be ablaze for this landscape tour through Cornelia Pinchot's gardens. Meet at the Visitor Pavilion to view the fabulous foliage displays of the native shrubs, the Japanese maple display, the historic Sugar Maple planted by General William T. Sherman and the historic landscape. NEW THIS YEAR: Enjoy the new Trees of Grey Towers trail through the landscape: identifying signs include QR codes that can be scanned for more information. SATURDAY, OCT 26: DRAMATIC READING: FOREVERMORE: A TRIBUTE TO EDGAR ALLAN POE, 6 PM AND 8 PM. The American Readers Theatre Company will perform a dramatic reading of selected works of Edgar Allan Poe in this seasonal favorite program. SUNDAY, OCT. 27: CEMETERY WALK, 1:30 pm. Join us for a walk through the Laurel Hill Cemetery, Milford's original town graveyard, on the grounds of Grey Towers. Meet at the Visitor Pavilion in the parking lot. Wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. NEW THIS YEAR: Learn about the restoration work and on-going improvements to this community treasure.
