LACKAWAXEN TWP.- The Lackawaxen Township Board of Supervisors have invited the public to their first ever Town Hall Meeting. The meeting is on Thursday, January 30 at 7 p.m.

"We are interested in hearing your input on how we can better disseminate Township meeting dates, agendas and minutes, decisions, community events, fundraisers, volunteerism, other matters and news that are important to you as a Township Resident. Our goal is to connect as many residents as we can to Township Government and our Local Community," said Township officials.

This is planned to be the first of many Town Hall meetings held by the Township. Coffee and bottled water will be provided. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The agenda for this meeting will specifically address the township website, social media, newsletters and a request to residents of their emails for the purposes listed above. Supervisors will take suggestions for future Town Hall meeting agendas at the end of this meeting.

"We kindly request all residents that are interested in the future of Lackawaxen Township to not only attend this first ever historic event, but to also share this event with your neighbors. As this will be an informal community event, we are also requesting those attending to bring their favorite home baked cookies, snacks, goodies or similar store bought goods to share with the group," Township officials said.

The Township building is located at 169 Urban Road.
