The Hawley Silk Mill, LLC, has announced the Annual Authors Festival, the first in a projected series of events designed to promote the cultural richness of the local community. On Saturday, February 8, from noon to 5 p.m., the public is invited to meet and speak with local authors about their books, which will be available at the event for purchase and signing.
Authors invited to the event include Donna Borenkoff, Jan Cheripko, Bill Conlogue, Madeline Coppola, Michael Gadomski, Clara Gillow Clark, Lindsay George, Mark T. Haytmanek, Ann O'Hara, Albert G. Rutherford, Christine San José. Mimi Steffen, Pat Thomas, Wendy Townsend and Will Wyckoff.
The Hawley Silk Mill is located at 8 Silk Mill Dr., Hawley. Coming from the west on Route 6, the Silk Mill is on the left side of the hill up from downtown Hawley; coming from Milford, turn right off the hill.
