  • Smyth leads Library's 2013 memorial list

  • HAWLEY - A longtime volunteer librarian at the Hawley Public Library, Barbara Smyth, is among those remembered by donations during 2013, according to the announcement of Library Board President Margot Adams Clauss.
    Memorial donations in Smyth's name have been received from Gumble Brothers Inc. Home Centers, Timothy and Tracy McHale, Susy and Frank West, Cindy and Robin Wildermuth, Barbara and John Novak, Wayne Chapter DAR, Debi Stewart, Fanny Marshall, Paupack Fuel Oil, Joan Lizzio, Patty and Tommy Manoy, Dorothea Wiley, and Jay and JoAnn Rose.
    The Smyth memorial donors list continues with Spring Brook Estates, Jean N. Anke, Barbara Briden, Woodrow Family Fund of the Community Foundation of New Jersey, Karen Lutz, Carol A. Carroll, Stephanie Savage, Juliana Reser, Janet Fucci, Eastern Propane, Erika Kuta, Carole Seuling, Toby R. Corbin, Kathryn Showers, Gail B. Neldon, and Terry Slotter.

    Donations in memory of Peter Figielski were received from Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fieldhouse, Joann and Alan Shecter, Paul and Carol Verzi, Ann Cacciaguida, Greg and Regina Limon, Mike Shecter, Joseph and Monica Cacciaguida, Michael and Ann Marie Figielski, and Michael and Megan Verzi.
    Memorials in the name of Richard V. Budd came from Springs Sunshiners, Carole Bionda, Sewell Cadillac of Dallas, Claire and Dianne Assip, Marion Rynar, and Bill and Sue Dodge. Edith Tether was remembered with donations from Hawley Gun Club, Carolyn I. Pederson, Mr. and Mrs. T. Scot Brown, and Nancy Gumble.
    Others in whose name memorials were received were: Margaret Adams from Mr. and Mrs. Leroy N. Spoor, Will and Ann Mount, and Lorraine M. Kolcun; Jacob A. "Jake" Daniels from Mary Howell and Marjorie C. Murphy; James F. Ferrara from Kathryn L.
