  • The Patriot Connectors meet the second Thursday of each month at the Wallenpaupack High School Library to inform and conduct informal civic discussions on “The State of the Union.” This includes information about local, state and national issues that are of interest to all Americans. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. sharp. The Moderator for the meetings is Ron Collins who starts with the Pledge of Allegiance and opening prayer. After this a program is presented on various topics of interest to the group with a question and answer period afterwards.
This month the topic will be “The Adams Family”, that is the second and sixth Presidents of the United States: John Adams (1797-1801), married to Abigail Smith, and nick named “Atlas of Independence” and John Quincy Adams (1825-1829), nick named “Old Man Eloquent”, and son of John Adams.
This isn’t the typical tour of old buildings, dusty artifacts and dry narration; this is history presented on DVD in a dynamic and fun-filled way. It goes back in time to OUR Founding Father’s lives and wives. The other topic will be “One Nation, Under God”. Speakers on this video will include Glenn Beck, Scott Walker, Marco Rubio, Mike Huckabee and Newt Gingrich.
"It gives a blueprint for citizen engagement and activism to help insure and restore America’s survival and future," said organizers.
As usual this is an open forum for all to engage in with comments and commentaries; it is free and open to the public.
