HAWLEY - Once again the Hawley Public Library is among the beneficiaries of the recent Fall Foliage Antique Show held at the Dorflinger Cutting Factory Building in White Mills.
Show Committee member Elaine Herzog notes that over the last three years, more than $6,000 from the profits of the show have been distributed to local non-profits.  Also benefiting from the most recent show were the Dorflinger-Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary Glass Museum and the Ritz Company Playhouse.
About her lifelong love of the Library, Herzog said, “When I was a kid I so appreciated the Library.  I read my way through the 'Nancy Drews' and more.  Now the Library serves us all in so many more ways.”
As she thanked Herzog, Library Board member Barbara Dyson said, “The continued support of local businesses and the community helps to maintain the Library and make available its resources to everyone in Wayne and Pike counties as well as our seasonal visitors.”
