WALLENPAUPACK - The Wallenpaupack Area Middle School sixth grade is getting some big helping hands for a gardening project the teams have taken on this year. The project is a greenhouse potato-growing project using 5-gallon pails and a sunny corner of the school.
The pails, lids and soil for this project were recently donated by the Honesdale Home Depot, thanks to Service Desk Supervisor Robin Riebel. “We here at the Home Depot are glad to participate in this project,” said Riebel.
These materials were soon put to good use by Mr. Robert (Bobby) Morgan, Penn State Master Gardner and Middle School volunteer.  Mr. Morgan has offered his time and talents to inaugurate the first of many growing seasons in the Middle School garden project, graciously funded through a Lackawanna Junior College grant.
