  • Heroin sales lands Milford man in state pen

  • MILFORD - Pike County District Attorney Raymond J. Tonkin announced the following criminal sentences were issued Wednesday, March 26 by Pike County President Judge Joseph F. Kameen:
        • Robert Koetzle, age 18, of Milford was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for 12 to 36 months to be followed by 12 months of Probation, ordered to pay a fine totaling $1,700.00 and had his license suspended for one year for the crimes of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Conspiracy and Criminal Mischief.
         On December 5, 2013, in Delaware Township, Koetzle delivered to an undercover informant 24 bags of heroin in exchange for $300.00.  On January 9, 2014, in Dingmans Township, Koetzle delivered to an undercover informant 20 packets of heroin in exchange for $240.00.  Koetzle was also found guilty of intentionally damaging a vehicle.

        • Vickie Arrington, age 48, of Port Jervis, NY was sentenced two to 18 months in the Pike County Jail and a fine totaling $200.00 for the crime of Theft by Unlawful Taking. Between October 22, 2013 and November 16, 2013, in Westfall Township, Arrington took a total of $1,155.52 in gift cards and currency from a business.
         • Jeffrey Rose, age 52, of Otisville, NY was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in the Pike County Jail, a fine totaling $1,000.00 and had his license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence.  On October 10, 2013, in Westfall Township Rose was found operating a vehicle under the influence of a combination of drugs which impaired his ability to safely operate the vehicle.
        • Christian Turner, age 19, of Hawley was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in the Pike County Jail, to be followed by 6 months of Probation, ordered to pay a fine totaling $1,300.00 and his license suspended for 1 year for the crimes of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance.  On August 11, 2013 in Greene Township, Turner was found operating a vehicle under the influence of marihuana and in possession of drug paraphernalia.
       • Danielle Fell, age 25, of Stroudsburg was sentenced to 48 hours to six months in the Pike County Jail, a fine totaling $1,025.00 and had her license suspended for one year for the crime of Driving Under the Influence and traffic violations.  On June 21, 2013, Fell struck a parked vehicle in the parking lot of the Promised Land State Park and was found to be under the influence of alcohol.

        • Christopher Scott, age 21, of Cresco was sentenced to one year Probation and a fine totaling $500.00 and had his license suspended for six months for the crimes of Possession of a Small Amount of Marihuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  On October 9, 2013, in Greene Township, Scott was found in possession of marihuana for personal use.
    Page 2 of 2 -        •     Utia Mendez, age 23, of Albany, NY was sentenced to 12 months of Probation and ordered to pay a fine totaling $200.00 for the crime of Resisting Arrest.  On November 3, 2013, in Westfall Township, Mendez engaged in threatening behavior towards Eastern Pike Regional Police officers attempting to discharge their duties.
           •    Bryant Finnegan, age 21, of Newton, NJ was sentenced to 12 months of Probation and a fine totaling $200.00 for the crime of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  On December 28, 2013, in Milford  Finnegan was found in possession of a marihuana pipe and grinder.
            •    Kane Curran, age 19, of Milford was sentenced to 12 months of Probation and a fine totaling $200.00 for the crime of Receiving Stolen Property.  On October 14, 2013, in Matamoras Curran was found in possession of stolen property having a value in excess of $800.00.
