TEXAS TWP. - In honor of Cinema 6’s new digital projectors, the 2014 Arts Alliance film season season features visually arresting films best seen on the big screen. The program begins at 7 p.m. with a brief introduction, and ends with a discussion after the film.
    The suggested donation for admission is $6.
    In On the Silver Globe, four astronauts flee Earth to begin a new civilization. Production was shut down by the Polish Ministry of Culture in 1977 and did not resume until the mid-80s. To salvage the film, director Andrzej Zulawski replaced destroyed footage with voiceover narration and scenes filmed with new actors.
    Honesdale Cinema 6 is located at 1199 Texas Palmyra Highway, in the Route 6 Plaza. Ths is the final film in the current film series, which began on February 10th.
