    • A resident of the Escape community in Greene Township found four pairs of skis and a snowboard buried under leaves in a wooded area next to his house. The items were located Sunday, May 4. • State Police Dunmore responded to Interstate 81, southbound lanes near Exit 197 in Scott Township, Lackawanna County, when a camper top was found. This was on Wednesday, April 30. A Skamper slid-in camper top, colored tan/ beige, was found on its roof on the right berm.
The camper top slides into the bed of a pick-up trick and most likely came out during the extremely windy and rainy conditions that occurred that day. The owner apparently continued without realizing the top was lost, or failed to stop after it was blown off. Area police departments were notified in case the owner contacts them. Anyone with information is asked to call the Dunmore barracks at 570-963-3156.
