The program is being held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Honesdale Senior Center, through June 26.
This program promotes regular physical activity, which provides many benefits for older adults. Research has shown that older adults who practice weight resistance training improve their balance and coordination and may decrease their risk for falls.
