SOUTH CANAAN - Grab your secret decoder ring and put on your rearview mirror glasses because this summer we are heading to the International Spy Academy where kids will train to become special agents for the one true God, said organizers of Bible Day Camp, June 23-27 at Canaan Bible Chapel.
"Synchronize your watches and join us at the ISA where you, as a special agent, will learn to know, love and live for the one true God. This exciting new  Bible Day Camp program is filled with fun mysteries kids will love and the Bible-based truths parents want to teach them," said organizers.
The theme this year -  International Spy Academy -  will instill in campers an understanding of the God of the Bible they can carry with them for the rest of their lives and share with those around them. They will uncover 'clues' that lead them to God, described as the Creator of all and who calls people from all walks of life and nations to fellowship with Him through his Son Jesus Christ.
Camp begins Monday, June 23rd and runs five mornings from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.  Campers are encouraged to come 15 minutes early the first few mornings so they can be placed in the proper class. Children aged 4  through grade 8 are invited. There is no cost, but a voluntary offering will be received daily as a contest to support one of the church’s missionaries.
There are games, prizes, crafts, songs, skits, snacks, contests, activities, Bible lessons and more. All activities are age appropriate.
There is also a Day Camp Family Picnic at no charge on Friday evening, June 27th at 6 p.m. Food and drinks are supplied by the church. All campers and their families may attend.
Campers can register online at Registration forms are also available at the church office. For more information call 570-937-4848. Early registration is suggested.
