WESTFALL TWP. - Lawrence D. Flansburgh, 54, of Mill Rift, was charged on June 18th with Perjury, Retaliation for Past Official Action, Criminal Attempt to Obstruct Administration of Law or Other Governmental Function, False Swearing- Official Proceeding, Intimidation of Witnesses or Victims, Sunshine Act Violation and Registration and Certificate of Title Required.
   Flansburg is a Westfall Township Supervisor as well as a Police Commissioner for the Eastern Pike Regional Police Department.
  PA State Police, Blooming Grove filed these charges. Flansburgh was apprehended at his residence by State Police without incident. He was transported to the Pike County Correctional Facility where to wait for preliminary arrangement.
    Flansburgh was arraigned by District Judge Alan Cooper at 9 a.m. June 19th via video conference and was released on his own recognizance, the Pocono Record reported.
   The incidents in question are alleged to have taken place between September 2012 and May 2014.
   Trooper Michael Mulvey and Trooper Augusta Diana are the investigating officers.
