WESTFALL TWP. - Delaware Valley Superintendent John Bell had nothing but praise for the Seniors of DV at Thursday’s June 12th general DV School Board meeting. Graduation was held Saturday, June 14 rather than Friday evening the13th, due to rain in the forecast.
    In fact, many were recognized for their achievements at Thursday’s scheduled School Board meeting by the 13 School Board Members in attendance.
    A room full of proud family members were on hand at the 7 p.m. meeting cheering them on-ward.
    Several sports and extra-curricular programs drew attention by the DV School Board.
The DV Boys Lacrosse Team was praised for their 18-3 stand-out year.
The DV Boys Track & Field Team ended their successful year as District Champs.
The DV Tennis Club was applauded for several single and double match wins.
The Future Business Leaders of America had several DV students heading to Nashville, Tennessee to represent the State of Pennsylvania in a National competition.
The DV music department made all-star and was applauded for their outstanding music educational program at the all-star music conference.
Lastly, two students from DV’s Scholastic Arts program were praised for being recognized by Carneghie Hall in New York City.  The two female accomplished artists’ work will be on display in a NYC art gallery, per their group leader.
