  • GREENE TOWNSHIP - On April 28, State Police, Blooming Grove were called to a loud underage party at 133 Bloss Road, Greene Township, following the Wallenpaupack Area High School prom.
       Trooper Robert Golden said in a press release issued June 25th that 32 students ranging from age 15 to 18 have been cited with Underage Drinking and/or Disorderly Conduct.
       The homeowner, Kathy Ferber, 51, and her older son Theodore Ferber, 21, both of Canadensis, were the only adults present. Trooper Golden said they had planned the after-prom party. Kathy and Theodore Ferber have been charged with Corruption of Minors Endangering the Welfare of Children and Recklessly Endangering Another Person after one of the juveniles was hurt.
       According to the police report, the juvenile had fallen in a wooded area of Ms. Ferber's backyard and suffered a severe laceration to his leg.
       All charges have been filed in District Court.
     
    LACKAWAXEN TWP. - State Police, Blooming Grove, raided a prom party being held in a rental house at 100 Summit Court, Masthope development, June 8th. Thirty one juveniles, ages 17-18, were rounded up and charged with Underage Drinking and/or Disorderly Conduct.
       No adults were present at the party, said Trooper Robert Golden. The 31 students were from the Broomall and Newtown Square area of Pennsylvania. They had rented the house for the weekend following the Marple Newtown High School prom. Charges were filed at District Court.
