BLOOMING GROVE TWP. - A driver heading the wrong way on State Route 739, Sunday morning, June 29, was arrested and charged with felony drug possession.
    State Police, Blooming Grove, report that at 2:15 a.m., troopers observed a vehicle heading northbound in the southbound lane of Route 739. A traffic stop was attempted as the male driver was getting on I-84 westbound towards Scranton.
   The driver, later identified as Jorge Luis Arroyo-O'Neill, age 32, of Spring Brook Township, accelerated and a pursuit ensued. Arroyo turned around and got back on SR 739 northbound. He stopped on the shoulder and exited the vehicle. He then fled on foot into the woods.
   After a short foot chase, Arroyo was apprehended in the woods, Trooper Jeremy Carroll said.
  Once in custody, State Police located a bag filled with 28.3 grams of cocaine, a bag filled with 74.5 grams of cocaine, a bag filled with 16.1 grams of crack and another bag filled with 19.4 grams of marijuana. All this was in Arroyo's right cargo short pocket. Troopers also found $3,630.30 in his right front pocket.
   He was arraigned and placed in Pike County Jail in lieu of $150,000 bail.
   Police also learned that he was wanted out of Lackawanna County for felony drug possession and resisting arrest.

Broke a window

   DELAWARE TWP. - State Police, Blooming Grove investigated an act of criminal mischief in the Wild Acres development, Delaware Township, early Friday morning, June 27.
   An unknown person(s) threw a large rock through a window of a home. Damages amounted to approximately $200. This was on the 100 block of Fairview Drive.
