    • KUTZTOWN UNIVERSITY, Kutztown, PA - Kutztown University has confirmed the graduation of 1,293 students. Commencement exercises were held May 10; however, some students completed graduation requirements after that date.

    • ALBRIGHT COLLEGE, Reading, PA - Diplomas were awarded to more than 330 traditional, Accelerated Degree Program and master's degree graduates at Albright College's 155th Commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 25, 2014.
    The following local students received diplomas:
    Theresa Black of Lake Ariel graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry
    Jessica Sikora of Honesdale graduated with a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry
    Hailey Vogel of Milford graduated with a master of science degree in special education.
    • UNIVERSITY OF ALBANY, Albany, NY - The following students completed degree requirements at the 170th annual University at Albany Spring Commencement ceremonies May 16-18. 

    Raymond Bacek of Greentown, Bachelor of Science, Atmospheric Science, honor
    Mira Lazaroff of Milford, Bachelor of Arts, Psychology, honor.
    • ROCHESTER INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, Rochester, NY - Timothy Southerton of Honesdale graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology. He received both a Bachelor of Science degree  and Master of Engineering degree in mechanical engineering from RIT's Kate Gleason College of Engineering.
    • MILTON HERSHEY SCHOOL, Hershey, PA- Matthew Fahnestock, son of Eugene Fahnestock and Karen Weaver, Greentown, graduated recently from Milton Hershey School® (MHS), a privately endowed school located in Hershey. He was admitted to MHS in 2009 and was an active member of SkillsUSA and prepared and showed goats at the Pennsylvania Farm Show during his high school years. In addition, Matthew earned his PA Inspection License.
        During the High School Awards Program, he was presented with the Automotive Career/Technical Award.
    Page 2 of 2 -      Matthew will continue his education at Pennsylvania College of Technology to major in Diesel Technology. During the summer, he will work in two area automotive shops.
