MILFORD-  The Milford Music Festival in June was a great way to kick off the summer but the fun isn’t over, Festival organizers announce.
     The Milford Music Festival brings another one-day music extravaganza on Saturday, September 20th.
   "Our friends with Music in the Park and the Milford Dairy Bar have been keeping the streets alive with  music and in September we have time for one last hurrah with good music and great food," organizers said.

      This is a one day only walk-about event filled with live music, food and shopping.  There is a range of musical tastes, including rock, blues, country and jazz.
   The Merchants of Groove are returning to Harrington House at 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. behind the Artisans Exchange.  The Pike County Historical Society will host “Schoolhouse Rock" at the Schoolhouse at Apple Valley featuring young bands from the area and Dave Chant has promised Saron Crenshaw to be rocking away on his porch as usual.  The Grotto will be featuring the Alexander and Remma Duo all day as they did in June and the Dimmick and Hotel Fauchere are sure to be participating.  The Dairy Bar is planning a full line up.

     Since 2010, the Music Festival, a not for profit 501(3)(C) organization has sponsored a Borough-wide sidewalk event with music, shopping, dining and fun all over town, attracting music lovers and encouraging them to explore Milford. 25+ individual businesses participate, giving music lovers a reason to experience Milford from one end of town to the other. throughout the weekend Milford shopkeepers will host the annual Sidewalk Shopping Festival along Broad and Harford streets and at the historic Upper Mill, Apple Valley Village and Old Lumberyard Shops.
