Friday, April 18

• American Red Cross Blood Drive, Hawley United Methodist Church, 315 Church St., Hawley, 12 noon to 6 pm.

• State Representative Mike Peifer will be holding office hours, 9 am to 12 noon at the Pike County Administration Building, Milford, to meet with constituents. This location is handicap accessible.

• LizTech Bead Bash, Wallenpaupack Area High School Cafeteria, Wilsonville. Doors will open at 5:30 pm and beading will begin at 6 pm. Admission $25, allows you to make as many bracelets as you can in 90 minutes. Proceeds will benefit Relay for Life. Refreshments will be served. • “Comedy Night,” Ehrhardt's Waterfront Banquet Center, Lake Wallenpaupack. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 8 pm. All proceeds benefit the Wayne County BPW Scholarship Fund. Cost is $25 per ticket and includes an appetizer bar and entertainment.  Cash Bar is available. • Roast Beef Dinner, 4:30 pm to 7 pm at the Hemlock Grove United Methodist Church, 491 Roemerville Road, Greentown. Adults are $9, children ages to 12, $5. Take-outs available.

• Spring Cluster Meeting of the Women of E.L.C.A., begins at 8:45 am at the Zion Lutheran Church, Brodheadsville. Theme of meeting is “To Fetch a Pail of Water.” Registration fee is $6, which includes lunch. Call 992-4758 in evenings, for more information.
