• Hawley First Friday — Activities include something for everyone from art gallery wine and cheese receptions to a classic car show. Visitors can also enjoy raffles, live music, and new for 2008, a food sampling dubbed “A Taste of Hawley.”

Saturday, May 3

 • The Catholic Diocese of Scranton invite couples celebrating their 25th or 50th wedding anniversary in 2008 to a Wedding Anniversary Celebration, 2:30 pm Mass at St. Peter Cathedral followed by a reception. To receive an invitation, eligible couples should give their names and a mailing address to their pastor.
