Milford, Pa. -

At the United Way of Pike County, we are very fortunate to have many dedicated volunteers, and we know other agencies count on their volunteers as much as we do.

In celebration of National Volunteer Week (April 27th – May 3rd, 2008), the United Way of Pike County would like to honor all Pike County volunteers by listing their names in a publicly displayed Honor Roll of Volunteers.  It will be viewable during National Volunteer Week and presented to the Pike County Commissioners.  Red ribbon "V" shaped lapel pins will also be given to everyone named in the list to salute their support and dedication to our community.

If your non-profit organization has volunteers who have served one or more days in the past year, they will receive a volunteer recognition ribbon if you provide your agency address and the volunteer names to the United Way of Pike County by March 31, 2008.  This information can be submitted via email at uwvista@yahoo.com.  If your agency does not have access to email, please call 570-296-9980 to discuss other options.
