The United Way of Pike County (UWPC) President Christine Obser welcomes Barbara Buchanan as an Honorary Campaign Chair for the 2007-2008 campaign.

In addition to sitting on the UWPC Advisory Board, Barbara has graciously agreed to volunteer her time this year to serve on the Campaign Committee. “We are very excited to have Barbara on the committee, and I am personally looking forward to working with her,” said John Gilpin, Pike County treasurer and UWPC Board member.

Obser said, “Barbara is a wonderful lady and truly an asset to this community. Her continued efforts and initiatives on behalf of the United Way are greatly appreciated. We are also very thankful for her generous donation — her support of our mission to help fund human service agencies will contribute to this year's campaign success. Again, thank you Barbara.”
