Penn State Cooperative Extension in Pike County offers programs that have been shown to strengthen families and encourage social and academic success in youth.
One such program is Positive Parenting - Teen Years, is a workshop for parents, parent educators, social service agencies, parenting organizations, schools, foster parents, and churches.
The sessions will focus on parent-child communication, nurturing relationships, setting limits and respectful discipline practices in two sessions, Tuesdays May 20 and May 27, 6 - 8 pm, in the Community Room, Biondo Building, 221 Broad Street, Milford.
The $10 per person registration fee is required by May 16.
