Today we begin the final steps towards seeking justice for the Dickson Family, Alex Douglass, Nicole Palmer, their families, and all those who share a common bond with them in performing service to the citizens of Pennsylvania. The events of September 12th 2014 will never be forgotten. While time has passed since that night that changed so much for each of them, the trial will bring back much of the pain they have suffered from. Please take a moment to recall the choice Corporal Bryon Dickson, Trooper Alex Douglass and Nicole Palmer made to serve those in need. Each of them chose to make their own sacrifice for all of us. For that the world is a better place.
Myself, 1st Assistant District Attorney Bruce DeSarro and the entire staff of the District Attorney's Office are focused on our duties to seek justice.
We appreciate the opportunity to serve and we will do our best.
