HAWLEY - The Downtown Hawley Partnership is set for it’s annual dinner, Wednesday April 26th. The event will again be hosted in the Great Hall of the Hawley United Methodist Church, 315 Church St, in Hawley from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The DHP Executive Board, as usual, extends an invitation for the whole community to attend the event. A $35 attendance donation and advance reservations are required to enjoy a casual neighborhood dinner, live entertainment, outstanding community service awards ceremony and keynote address.
“The event brings out so many in our community, coworkers and neighbors alike, to celebrate the growth of our little town, recap the projects of the year and share in an agreeable vision of the future” remarks Rory O’Fee, a member of the DHP Marketing Committee.
The DHP has it’s finger on the pulse of the greater Hawley community and attendees will find themselves surprised at all the organization is responsible for, from Hawley Winterfest to main street beautification, from light pole banners and the Riverwalk trail to Wally Lake Fest.
“This event is a way for the partnership to share the state of the union so to speak, and give the community a direct look in to see what we’re doing, and wish to do, for our area” O’Fee added.
The DHP Annual Dinner is $35 per person and reservations can be made online at www.VisitHawleyPA.com by clicking on the main link on the homepage. Questions may be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Downtown Hawley Partnership is comprised of Hawley area businesses, organizations and individuals working together to bring cohesiveness, aesthetics, and structure to the growth and development of downtown Hawley.
