MILFORD BOROUGH - The public hearing held April 10th concerning transfer of a liquor license to Turkey Hill Market, was adjourned after about two hours leaving an opportunity for Turkey Hill to bring additional testimony to the table.

At the May 3rd meeting of Milford Borough Council, Councilwoman Annette Haar made the motion to deny the transfer which lead to a unanimous vote killing the proposal.  Haar cited the lack of a traffic study, in making her motion.

Solicitor Anthony Waldron also pointed out the potential nuisance of the business especially on weekends when the current business on West Harford Street is already is a gathering place, thus addressing concerns of neighboring property owners.
