PALMYRA TWP. (Wayne) - This vehicle, coming down Columbus Avenue at an apparent high rate of speed, Wednesday evening, May 17, flipped over the guide rail and landed upside down. Hawley Deputy Fire Chief Eugene E. Krause said there were four occupants; three were taken away by White Mills and Hawley ambulances; the driver was transported by Life Flight helicopter. Emergency responders were called out at approximately 7:15 p.m. PA State Police investigated; a report was still pending. This was just up the hill from Hawley Fire Department and New Covenant Fellowship. Commonwealth Health paramedics were also on scene.
