SYMPOSIUM - Wayne County Historical Society celebrates its 100th anniversary with a day-long symposium on local history and summary of Society’s first century. The event is at the Dorflinger Factory Museum, Route 6 in White Mills, Saturday, June 24. Breakfast, lunch and a host of speakers are planned. Lisa Mazzarella, WVIA-TV celebrity, is the emcee. ARTS & CRAFTS FAIRS - The Chamber of the Northern Pocono’s annual Arts & Crafts Fairs in Bingham Park will take place Saturday, June 10 and Saturday, September 9. Enjoy the talents of artists and crafters displaying their fine wares. The Fair hosts approximately 100 vendors. HONESDALE ROOTS & RHYTHM - Called a “swaggeringly bad girl bluesy rock band” by music media, Larkin Poe, a sibling duo out of Georgia, will headline the 12th annual Honesdale Roots & Rhythm Music & Arts Festival on Saturday, June 17th, in Central Park.

Bruce Katz and his band start off the whole show in Central Park at 1:30 p.m. Katz is a four-time nominee for the Blues Music Award and was inducted into the New York Blues Hall of Fame in 2013.

Bands along Main Street and then moves to Central Park, where attendees can enjoy arts, crafts,  games and food. HAWLEY FARMER’S MARKET is held every Friday from mid-May into October from 2 to 6 p.m., in Bingham Park, Hawley. Downtown Hawley Partnership hosts this growing event. Tents are set up next to the bandstand, and the playground is a short walk away.
