Police have released surveillance footage of the fugitives taken at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at the Wal-Mart on Route 209 in Westfall Township, Pa., according to Chad Stewart, police chief of the Eastern Pike (Pa.) Regional Police Department.
Stewart said the two left on foot and were heading back toward New York.
The two were seen in the Bloomingburg and Pine Bush (NY) areas on Saturday, police said.
Trooper Steven Nevel, the public information officer at state police Troop F headquarters, said communities should remain vigilant.
The pair are considered armed and dangerous.
