PAUPACK TWP. - This Saturday, August 5, from 9 a.m. to noon the Lakeville United Methodist Church is beginning a bi-weekly coffee house/bake sale in their Community Hall.

“Along with coffee there will be an array of fresh baked bread, cookies, cupcakes, and other homemade delights for sale,” said Doris Singer, the project chair.

Local folk musician Barry Butler, will entertain during that time. Butler says he tailors the music he plays to his audience. If there is something special someone wants to hear he will play it.

“If you are going from Hawley to Hamlyn Saturday morning, stop in. We are the only place to get coffee between the two points. Or if you just want some entertainment,” said Singer.

Everybody is welcome. The Hall is located at 431 Purdytown Turnpike, (Route 590) Lakeville, just west of the Cove Haven sign.

Singer is planning on having the coffee house open on the first and third Saturday of each month. Various entertainers are set to preform.
