CANAL FESTIVAL - Wayne County Historical Society is hosting the 5th annual Canal Festival Saturday, August 10, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at D&H Canal Park at Lock 31. The park is one mile west of Hawley on out 6. Admission is free. New this year will be a costumed trapper who will demonstrate primitive early outdoor skills; doll repair; bicycling on the towpath; an environmental puppet show, and more.
