MILFORD - As summer winds down, organizers of Milford Music Festival are busy putting the pieces together for their next event - Septemberfest, a free celebration of local Art, Crafts, Food & Music in the storefronts and eateries of Milford. Septemberfest 2017 will be held on Saturday September 9th and as always, attendance is free, hosted thanks to the sponsoring businesses that line the small river town's historic street.

Features include an evening performance at the Waterwheel Cafe, Bakery & Bar by guitarist Walt Edwards, an Art, Craft & Food Fair at the Columns Museum with a performance by musician Jeremy Langdale and produced by the Milford Farmers Market, live graffiti painting by street artist Jesse Clemente and a World Rhythms workshop with Obie Kaye at the Milford Craft Show and an encore performance by Blues Hall of Fame'r Junior Mac at Davis R. Chant Realtors.

Other features are planned at the Hotel Fauchere, Jorgenson's at The Dimmick Inn,  Ambience Fine Furniture & Gifts and a dozen more Milford businesses.

“Volunteers are critical to the success of Septemberfest. Organizers of the event are seeking friendly and Milford street savvy volunteers to participate as the event's Street Team,” said Amy Eisenberg, Milford Presents Executive Director.

For a two hour shift, Street Team volunteers will help visitors navigate the venues and businesses. In exchange for their invaluable service, all volunteers receive an exclusive Street Team t-shirt (and the admiration of their neighbors).

Please contact Milford Presents at to enlist. Milford business people who want to be involved are also encouraged to contact the organizers through the festival email.

The deadline for participation is August 30th.
