Spencer R. Andersen, 96 of Rowland, PA passed away at home on Saturday, August 26, 2017. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and had been a longtime resident of Rowland, PA.

Spencer served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. During his career as an iron worker, he worked on the original World Trade Center Towers.

He was predeceased by his longtime companion Jenny (McKean) McCue; two brothers Lester Andersen and Alfred Andersen; sister Dorothy (Andersen) Jacobsen; niece Eleanor (Andersen) Clouse and nephew Ralph Andersen.

He will be missed by all of the Andersen, McKean and McCue families and so many others that he came to know during his life.

Graveside services will be held at the German Hill Cemetery, Shohola, PA on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Donald Beck officiating.
