WAYNE/PIKE - Monday, September 11, 2017 is Patriot’s Day across the Country.  
Wayne County residents are asked to remember September 11th by visiting one of the several memorials in the County or by silently remembering September 11th at 9 a.m. where ever you might be (as well at any planned ceremonies which may schedule events at various times).  
This year is the 16th anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center, Pentagon and the downing of the airliner over Shanksville, Pa.

HAWLEY - The annual 9/11 remembrance ceremony is planned for noon on Monday, September 11 at the monument in Bingham Park, Hawley. The Hawley 9/11 Committee, which raise funds and dedicated the memorial in 2011, invite the public to attend. HONESDALE - No formal 9/11 ceremony is planned in Honesdale, but the public is encouraged to honor and remember September 11, 2001, by visiting the 911 Memorial at the corner of Court and 9th Streets any time on September 11th or any day of your choosing.

MILFORD - The 16th Annual 9-11 Memorial Blood Drive is planned Saturday, September 9 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Delaware Valley High School, 256-US-6, near Milford.
