WALLENPAUPACK - The Fourth Grade Students of the Wallenpaupack North Intermediate School will be participating in a Veterans’ Day Program on Friday, November 10 at 6 p.m. at the Wallenpaupack Area High School Gym.

The boys and girls will be singing patriotic songs, as well as songs of the five branches of the Armed Forces, and have created a beautiful art display called United We Stand.

All students at WNIS are involved in an essay writing contest on the same theme, and the winners will read their essays during the program. Area veterans will also be participating in the program, along with community officials, and school administration.

SM3, US Navy Veteran, Robert Lavin, who served on the USS Okinawa LPH-3, is the guest speaker on this special evening.
The entire community is invited to attend and admission is free.
