Here is a sample of some of the main events coming up in the Wayne/Pike county area.

1. SANTA PARADE: Line up for the Santa Parade in Honesdale, Friday, Nov. 24, will begin at 5 p.m. in the Top Notch parking area on Fourth Street and the parade will kick-off at 6 p.m. The parade will end in Central Park and be immediately followed by the traditional tree lighting ceremony.  The rain date is Sunday, Nov. 25.

3. HAWLEY WINTERFEST - Downtown Hawley Partnership hosts the 19th annual Winterfest, Friday, December 8- Sunday, December 10. Over 50 events are scheduled. Some of these include “Christmas in the Park,” author book signings, train rides, ice sculptures, live music, horse and carriage rides, a “Cookie Walk” and tours of D&H Canal lock houses.
