Slambovian Underground

The Slambovians’ charm from the first note, with what SIRIUS XM’s radio host Meg Griffin says are, “Great songs and a whole lotta heart!” They create a captivating vibe that feeds the soul.

Formed in Sleepy Hollow, New York over a decade ago, they pioneered the alt-folk circuit, staying on the fringes of the music industry. Winning support from indie radio and press since their inception, fans fueled their career from the ground up to an international status. Having headlined major music festivals and venues across the US, Canada and UK, this band has a devoted cult following.

Lead singer Joziah Longo and multi-instrumentalist Tink Lloyd, plus a third musician make up the Slambovian Underground.

“Soothing and bewitching as a snake oil tonic, the entire root system of Rock Family Trees is embedded in Longo’s voice.” – The Big Issue, Scotland, UK.

Ms. Legere is creating a new EP in Montreal with Artic Records and a three song EP/Video w/ Frogg Cafe mandolinist/fiddle player Bill Ayasse. HITS magazine called Phoebe, “one of the most, inspired and talented creative-supernovas on the planet...One of those rare luminous souls... beautiful, wickedly funny, anointed with wisdom, and her music possesses Native American mystical and healing qualities. Like Billie Holiday or Jimi Hendrix or Miles Davis or Sun Ra..."
