HONESDALE -  Chief Executive Officer of The Dime Bank and Dimeco, Inc. (OTC Pink: DIMC), parent company of The Dime Bank, announced Gregory J. Frigoletto has joined the Board of Directors team serving as the ninth board member.

Gregory Frigoletto comes to Dimeco with an extensive background serving our community in the field of education. As District Superintendent of Wayne Highlands School District, he is a passionate and accomplished professional with twenty-five years of experience in education, nineteen as an administrator, all at Wayne Highlands School District.

Frigoletto began his career as an elementary teacher at Lincoln School and then Lakeside Elementary. After several years his achievement-driven, goal-oriented pursuits had Frigoletto working his way up through the district schools with promotions from assistant principal, to principal, to his current appointment in 2011 as District Superintendent. In addition, he is a certified instructor/facilitator for the National Institute of School Leadership PA Inspired Leadership Program.

Greg Frigoletto is a long-time Wayne County resident and a proud graduate of Honesdale High School. He holds a Master of Science from the University of Scranton and a Bachelor of Science from Kutztown University. Frigoletto holds additional certifications from the Pennsylvania Academy for the Profession of Teaching and Learning and received his Superintendent Letter of Eligibility from the University of Scranton.

Greg Frigoletto is extremely active in the community, serving on the boards of the Chamber of the Northern Poconos and the Wayne County Family Center. He is also a chairperson for Wayne Area Sports Hall of Fame and a member of the Honesdale Lions Club. Greg and his wife, Heather, live in Honesdale. They are the proud parents of two daughters, Olivia, a sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh, and Isabella, a sophomore at Honesdale High School.
