HONESDALE - On Monday, June 11 at 7:30 p.m. the Northeasters Barbershop Chorus will kick off the 2018 season of the Wayne County Creative Arts Council's “Festival of Park Events” summer music series.

The Northeasters have been a staple of the Music in the Park series for over 38 years.

The signature blend of their singing old traditional Barbershop songs mixed with patriotic and Broadway show tunes, in 4-part men's harmony, provides a delightful evening of entertainment. From within the group, several quartets will step to the front and render some special selections.

The 22 member group performs under the direction Tammy Ebert. They will be presenting their annual show on September 24 at Honesdale High School.
The theme of this year's show is “How the West Was Sung!”

Refreshments are available.
A free will collection will be made to help defray the costs of the bands.

The rain location is the Central United Methodist Church. The announcement will be made on local radio stations WDNH 95.3 and Classic Hits 105.3. The webpage is www.honesdaleparkevents.org. You can also “friend” them on Facebook.
