MILFORD - Milford Presents is looking for volunteers for this year’s Milford Music Festival on Friday, June 22, Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24.
The call is for 20 or more volunteers of all ages to help guide and direct visitors through the town on Saturday and Sunday, as well as answer any questions about the area, the festival, or performances.
“Volunteers on the street team play an integral role in the success of the festival,” said Erwin Guberman of Milford Presents. “They are often the first face visitors see when they are wandering the streets looking for a performance, place to eat, shop, or just relax; in essence they help shape the experience that a visitor has in Milford.”
As a member of the street team, you are asked to volunteer for a two to three hour shift on Saturday and Sunday to help guide visitors in the town, hand out maps, and various other activities. All volunteers will receive a Milford Music Festival street team t-shirt and are encouraged to join in on the fun of the festival after their shift.
For almost two decades, the Milford Music Festival has grown into being one of Milford’s largest local music events. Nearly 30 musicians have joined the roster and 22 businesses are set to use their storefronts as a stage.
The event is free to the public thanks to Milford Merchant members and sponsors including Ambiance Furniture and Fine Crafts, the Naked Bagel, and Hotel Fauchere, organizers stated.
Volunteers are asked to register by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. The deadline is June 16.
