LACKAWAXEN TWP. -  The life of Beach Lake resident, Fezoula S Hazimof was taken on Saturday, June 16 at 1:35 a.m., as a result of a deadly ATV crash.

The ATV was being controlled by driver, Alan Charles Danelski at the time of the crash, PA State Police, Blooming Grove, reports.

According to Trooper Matthew R. Jones, the driver of the ATV failed to negotiate a left hand curve while driving, causing the vehicle to exit the roadway.

The ATV struck a ditch and mailbox, then returned to the roadway before rolling onto it’s passenger side.

The crash occurred on Welcome Lake Road in Lackawanna Township, Pike County.

The passenger of the vehicle, Fezoula S. Hazimof (56)  died as a result of the crash.

Danelski, who is 40 is also from Beach Lake, was suspected of DUI at the time of the crash and was taken into custody on the scene, police said.

The incident is being ruled a homicide by motor vehicle while DUI.

Danelski will be arraigned by District Justice, Deborah Fischer. Pike County District Attorney Ray Tonkin approved the charges.
