HAWLEY - The Stourbridge Line brought excursionists from Honesdale to the July 4th parade in Hawley. After an hour layover, the passengers continued their trip down the Lackawaxen River as far as Glen Eyre before heading back. Pictured immediately after the parade, from left, are Jason Apple, head brakeman; Tom Myles, owner and CEO of Delaware Lackawaxen & Stourbridge Railroad; Carl Reichert and Tim Wright, conductors. Dancing along Main Avenue during the parade was the “Stourbridge Lion” mascot, played by Mike Keefe. For more information on 2018 train rides, visit thestourbridgeline.net or call 570-470-2697.
