HAWLEY - Jeanne Genzlinger will be sharing her story at the Hawley Public Library as part of the Unique Pathways series, Thursday, August 23rd at 5:30 p.m.

When asked if she had planned to pursue a career in the hospitality business as a young girl growing up in Hawley, Jeanne replied that her early vision of the future included a cozy home, a beautiful garden and entertaining with great food, great friends and interesting conversations.

How fortunate we are that Jeanne's vision for her own future has been shaped into a business that allows hundreds of visitors and locals alike to enjoy the comforts of beautifully designed inns, award winning gardens and the bounty of the area on a year round basis.

In 1980, Jeanne and Grant Genzlinger purchased the Settlers Inn.  From there they have invested in additional locations and businesses and formed the Settlers Hospitality Group.

Jeanne is focused on making Hawley and the Lake Region a destination and her commitment is evident, especially during the many annual events that are now held in this area such as Winterfest, Wally Lake Fest, and the Hawley Hoedown.

While actively promoting the area, she stills find time to hike local trails, bike along the towpath and kayak on the Lake.

Hawley Public Library is located at 103 Main Avenue.
