BUSHKILL - Superintendent Sula Jacobs began her assignment at Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area on September 10 and is looking forward to meeting with stakeholders and community members in the coming weeks and months.

“I am thrilled to be here in this special place with so many amazing natural, cultural and recreational resources, a talented staff, and so many great neighbors, volunteers, and partners.  I’m excited to get out and meet people and listen to what they have to say,” said Superintendent Jacobs.

She grew up not too far from the park in Sullivan County, NY.

“I really want to hear about what is most important to the people who live here and the people who visit and what ideas and advice they have for me and my team as we move forward,”  she added.

The park is hosting two public open house sessions to provide opportunities for people to come out and meet Superintendent Jacobs in person.  Both sessions are scheduled for Saturday, October 13.
