PALMYRA TWP. (Pike) - A 26 year old Canadensis resident, Timothy James “TJ” Seese, has died as a result of a motorcycle crash in Pike County, that occurred Sunday, October 7.
PA State Police, Blooming Grove reported that the crash took place at approximately 3:40 pm., along PA Route 390 in Palmyra Township.
Seese was operating a black, 2014 Harley Davidson Street Glide, southbound on 390. He had under compensated in a left curve in the road and traveled onto the west shoulder. Seese was able to regain control before colliding with a street sign on the west shoulder.
The motorcycle came to rest in a wooded area approximately 30 feet west of the roadway. Seese was taken to Geisinger Community Medical Center (CMC) Scranton with serious injuries. Trooper Andrew Beckwith stated that Seese passed away later that day, from the injuries he received in the crash.
