MILFORD - If you want to make a difference in the lives of victims and expand your knowledge, then Safe Haven of Pike County has the perfect opportunity for you, according to Safe Haven officials.
After completing this training, you will be able to:
• Answer Safe Haven's 24 hour crisis line
• Work directly with victims & their families
• Help plan and work special events/fundraisers
• Help facilitate survivor support groups
• And much more.
Anyone who is interested in a career in human services or social work, or seeking internship or volunteer hours, is encouraged to apply.
The class runs from November 5 to November 20, Mondays and Tuesdays from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Some additional online hours are required.
Safe Haven of Pike County serves victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
