HONESDALE - It's time to reserve your spot for the very popular annual Holiday Greens Fundraiser workshop, being held November 27 and 28 at Park Street Complex, home of Penn State Extension Wayne County.

Penn State Master Gardeners Linda Thiede and Faye Rossi will present the workshop.

This event again is being hosted on two successive days to accommodate everyone who is interested.  The workshop runs from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Bring your family and friends and come and make a wreath, swag, or bring a container to fill.

A variety of evergreens, pine cones, faux berries, white birch branches, and a handmade bow will be available for each item you make. For those using their own containers, a piece of floral foam will be provided.  Bring any embellishments you wish to add to your creation along with wire cutters, small clippers to size the greens and gloves. Master Gardeners will be on hand to help. The cost will be $15 for each item made.

The number of participants will be limited to 50 people per evening. Pre-registration is required by November 8, 2018. There will be no waiting list.

It is recommended you register early and please mark your calendar as a reminder.  Park Street Complex is located at 648 Park Street (Route 6) just up the street from the hospital (heading west from downtown). The workshop is held in the cafeteria of the Park Street Complex.
