HONESDALE - -On Sunday, November 11 at 2 p.m. Kazzrie Jaxen is set to perform on The Cooperage stage again. This time, it will be live broadcast on WJFF Radio Catskill.

This exclusive performance will be the final show of the Maple City Jazz Festival at The Cooperage, 1030 Main St., Honesdale.

The doors will open at 1:30 p.m. and this show is “BYOB.”
Rooted in tradition, sharing a love of jazz swing, their duets become inquiries: How far to the outer limits of melody and harmony can they stretch? How deep into the interiors of feeling can they go?  How creative can they be, juxtaposing the traditional with the abstract? And how can they impart the thrill and freedom of improvisation to their listeners? Standard tunes, jazz lines, original compositions, and totally free improvisations are woven into the performances through the contrapuntal voices of piano, bass, poetry, and song — always unique and surprising.
The suggested donation is $15 in advance, $20 at the door.
