MILFORD- Pike County Hands of Hope has announced a prayer meeting focused on the needs of the homeless and near-homeless people living in the area. The prayer meeting is scheduled Saturday, July 27 from 9 to 10 a.m. at the 1st Presbyterian Church, 300 Broad St., Milford.

HAWLEY- Robert Boland was a family man, a laborer in Hawley and loved baseball. He was credited in the local press with interrupting a daring burglary at the Hawley post office in the winter of 1895.
